Senior ChatSenior Chat at Covenant Presbyterian Church
670 East Meadow Drive, Palo Alto

We are a friendly, diverse group that includes members of at least four churches in Palo Alto. We also welcome any individuals who have an interest, so bring your friends and neighbors. No RSVP necessary.

We meet on the second Friday of each month at 10:00 in the Fireside Room of Covenant Presbyterian Church. We have refreshments, light exercises, and a stimulating speaker.

  • Friday, November 14: “Mental Illness in our Midst”
Most of us have encountered mental illness among friends, family, or from personal experience.  NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) was founded in 1978 to provide support, education, and advocacy.  They have been successful in moving toward reducing the stigma of mental illness.  We will be pleased to welcome staff and volunteer persons to our session to share their insights and stories.  Also, we will explore the mental health issues that affect older people. Cindy, Marianne and Hanny will be joining us.
