    10:00 AM: Worship and Sunday School
    Focus on the Family,” Gregory Stevens preaching, followed by light refreshments at the last Patio Hour of the season, hosted by Elizabeth Ramirez and Melanie Ramirez..12:00 noon: Lunch Bunch at the Fish Market, 3150 El Camino Real, Palo Alto. Any and all from our church family (plus guests) are invited to participate in this time of food and fellowship. Let Melanie Ramirez or Alan Plessinger know if you plan to attend.

    Alive in the Spirit of God: Spirit of Hope,” Pastor Rick preaching. Afterwards we will enjoy our final cook out of the season. As usual, hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments and beverage will be furnished. Bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share.
  • Tuesday, September 22, 12:00 noon: Senior Connections- Musical Memories. Lunch Provided. John Lehman, creator of Senior New Ways, leads the program. Covenant Presbyterian Church, 670 East Meadow Drive, 650-494-1760.
  • Thursday, September 24, 10:00 AM: Women’s Brunch at Corner Bakery Café, 3375 El Camino Real, Palo Alto. All women of our church community are invited to join in.
  • Sunday, September 27, 11:30: Adult Spiritual Formation begins with a study of The Moral Case for Fossil Fuel, Hugh Satterlee leading. (We have three copies of this book. Hugh encourages us to look it over before the class.)

    Alive in the Spirit of God: Spirit of Song,” Pastor Rick preaching, followed by Patio Hour hosted by Carolyn Shepard and Marilyn Hunwick.For the worship service on September 6, we would like to focus on your favorite hymns and songs. We did this a couple of years ago and people seemed to appreciate it. Please submit your favorites to Pastor Rick (preferably in writing) so that we might plan this service around music that speaks to you in particular ways.
  • Tuesday, September 8, 12:00 noon: Senior Connections Prime Timers fall recital series begins at The First Presbyterian Church of Palo Alto (1140 Cowper Street) with a bag lunch in the fellowship hall, followed by a concert beginning at 12:30pm in the sanctuary.
  • Tuesday, September 8: NO Bible Study We will resume on Tuesday, September 15 at the Terraces of Los Altos. We will meet at Marylea McLean’s apartment, 373 Pine Lane, #4204, Los Altos.

  • Sunday, August 9, 10:30 AM [note the time change!]:
    “Unity In Diversity,” our annual joint service in Mitchell Park
    with Covenant Presbyterian and University AME Zion. This year we also welcome First Presbyterian, iChurch and the Tongan Methodist Fellowship that meets at University AME Zion to the celebration. Worship for the whole family will be followed by a potluck lunch, also in the park. Bring food to share and invite someone to share the day with you. If you can help with set-up (9:00 AM) or clean up afterwards that would be great. There will be a joint choir that will rehearse at 9:30 AM.
