  • Friday, August 8, 2014, 7:00 PM: First Baptist Church night at the San Jose Giants
    We’ll travel to San Jose’s Municipal Stadium for the 7:00 PM game between the Giants and the Lancaster JetHawks, with a postgame fireworks display. Tickets are $11 for adults, $7 for seniors or kids 12 and under. Plus, it’s Hawaiian night at the ballpark – so wear your Hawaiian gear and get two free tickets to a future game.
  • Saturday, August 9, 2014, 1:00 – 5:00 PM: Ecumenical Hunger Project’s BlockFest 2014– Help us celebrate EHP’s 39 years of service to the community by joining us at the EHP campus for our annual BlockFest! Fantastic food, festivities, entertainment, local vendor booths with freebies and fun activities for the kids! 2411 Pulgas Avenue, East Palo Alto, CA 94303
  • Sunday, August 10, 2017:
    10:30 AM [note the time change!]: “All Are Welcome,” our annual joint service in Mitchell Park
    with Covenant Presbyterian. This year we also welcome University AME Zion and their new pastor, Kaloma Smith to the celebration. Worship for the whole family will be followed by a potluck lunch, also in the park. Bring food to share and invite someone to share the day with you.

  • Thursday, August 14, 7:30 PM: Gaza Relief Benefit in Fellowship Hall. Director’s Screening of Flying Paper with Co-Director Roger Hill and Rajaie Batniji – Assistant Prof. of Medicine, Stanford, Born in Gaza’s Shujayiya neighborhood. Flying Paper is the uplifting story of Palestinian children in Gaza engaged in the fascinating culture of kite making and flying. All proceeds will be donated to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.   • Sunday, August 17, 2014 we will welcome Max Vines to our pulpit. Former long-term interim pastor, Max will be finishing up a 3 month, round the world tour before returning to Australia.
